Repairing Trust Not Just Windows: Policing WITH the Community
About This Course
Recent events have caused a fracture of trust between some communities and the law enforcement agencies that serve them. Where these fractures have occurred, it’s critical that police and their communities work together to repair broken trust. Most agencies have Community Policing programs, but having programs alone is insufficient. What really matters is building relationships built upon better communication and re-engineered strategies to address community concerns and fears.
